Word Processing - Level Two

Description

Participants will set up a professional-looking newsletter by formatting columns, footers, and graphics. They will import articles, create custom styles, import and layer graphics, and use drawing tools. Participants may also design a flyer and/or letterhead. Ideas for integration into content instruction will be shared.

Word Processing - Level Three

Description

While the Level One and Level Two workshops cover most of the basic processes and features of most common word processing programs, modern programs have many more capabilities. This workshop will teach participant to create powerful, custom designed templates that can be used to streamline many daily word processing tasks. Topics to be covered include creating templates from scratch and from an existing document, form fields (text fields, drop down lists, check boxes, and radio buttons), creating prompting forms, and form security. Participants will also learn how to use Word to create form letters, print envelopes and mailing labels, and perform mail merges using a variety of data sources for the merge.
